These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BE THE ONE mobile application and website at bethe.one ("Service"), operated by BE THE ONE ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
BE THE ONE is a personal development platform that provides daily rituals (exercise, breathwork, reading, affirmations), AI-powered coaching, gamification (XP, levels, streaks, leagues), and community features. The Service is designed for disciplined, purpose-driven growth.
To use certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

You may create content through community features (daily summaries, comments, likes). You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or is reported by other users.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse or verify user-generated content.
The Higher Self coaching feature uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses. AI-generated content is provided for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. You should not rely on AI responses for critical decisions affecting your health, finances, or legal matters.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
The rituals and exercises provided in the app (pushups, breathwork, etc.) are general fitness activities. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing conditions. We are not responsible for injuries resulting from use of the Service.
The Service, including its design, code, content, logos, and branding, is owned by BE THE ONE and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BE THE ONE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BE THE ONE, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
