UNDERSTAND YOUR FUNDING OPTIONS

Funding programmes vs investors.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you download.

Is the database really free?+

Yes. Sign up with your email and confirm your address. Signup includes occasional bethe.one updates. You’ll get the downloadable Excel workbook with 495 programme rows and a separate section of 21 investor leads. No payment details are needed. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Is every entry a cash grant?+

No. The main list covers equity-free grants, reimbursements, vouchers, incubators and accelerators. Some programmes provide services or mentoring rather than cash. Each row explains what you actually receive, what you must pay and whether applications are open. Investor opportunities are labelled separately.

What do the funding figures mean?+

US$1bn+ combines published allocations from 48 programmes with usable budget figures, converted with ECB rates dated 16 October 2026. It includes multiple years and closed intakes, rather than a live balance of money available. A$10k–50m shows grant examples from Australia’s Defence Industry Development Grants and Safeguard Transformation Stream; eligibility and co-funding apply. The database also includes smaller awards. The country count means 195 countries researched, with eligibility determined by each programme.

Can I apply from my country?+

It depends on the programme. Provider region helps you explore the list; the country and residence requirements in each row determine eligibility. Some accept international founders, while others require a local company, residence, ownership or relocation.

What does “2026 edition” mean?+

The database was checked on 17 October 2026. Some listed programmes have closed applications or have announced a later intake. This is a one-off research snapshot, not a live feed. Always confirm current availability and terms on the linked official page before applying.

How do I use the workbook?+

Start with the Overview tab. Filter by provider region, stage, industry, currency and support amount. In Funding, read the eligibility, costs, deadlines and conditions in the same row, then follow the official programme page. Numeric support limits may include services, so compare the funding form as well as the amount.

Why is bethe.one sharing it?+

We’re building bethe.one for people who want to turn intention into action. Finding the right support can make the next step possible. This database is a practical resource for creators, builders and entrepreneurs. Joining also brings occasional bethe.one updates and ideas for growth.
